Reflection

   A month before the incoming graduation. A month before saying farewell to those who have been a part of your high school life. A month left for your high school happiness and bonding with friends.

   We’re now at the last grading period for being a fourth year high school student. And It’s so hard to know that we only have a few days to stay in this school which became our second home, which we found our friends and second family and memories shared. I’m glad to know that I’ll be graduating after four years of studying, finally I’ll be receiving my diploma. But I can’t deny how sad am I to leave this school, to leave my classmates and friends whom I’ve shared laughter’s and even tears. A school which I almost stayed at and witness how I learn and grown. The teachers  that so patient just to teach us. In ICT, which I’ve learned so much. How to blog and make a draft. That photoshop that so much challenging and exciting to work on.

  For this grading period, I’ll say I’ve learned so much. I’m so matured enough to apply what I’ve learned in almost everyday I go to school. And I know I can apply those at the future. For now,  I’ll be saying farewell to all graduates like me. As the song said "Farewell to you my friend we'll see each other again. Don't cry 'coz it's not the end of everything". For now, goodbye highschool, hello next chapter! Happy graduate classmates, batchmates and friends!

My Dream, My Future

  Future. It’s a six letter word which defines what will happen in the time after the present. And I’m so curious about it. You know, everybody wants’ to know what will be their future. What if we can predict our future? How nice, right?

  I have a dream for my future. Expectedly, I want to have a better life than now. I mean, I’m not that rich not also poor. I’m just a simple human with a very simple family and life. I dream to be an Engineer. My name will be Engr. Ronavil Marcelo. I’ll be constructing house and buildings. I will be the one to make my own house. Two storey with a gray, black and white paint in front  and inside, with a glass windows and many more. I will be the one to give an allowance to my family and make sure that my family will not work anymore. Soon, I’ll be having my own family. As soon as possible I want to marry an Engineer also or maybe an Architect. I’m not choosy’ I’m just being practical. It will be better to have a family like that. And I hope so.

  As one song said “I’m dreaming tonight till tomorrow I’ll be holding you tight and there’s  no one in the world I’d rather be…….. Dreaming about you and me”.

Change. The only permanent in the world. They say, “change is bound to happen”. Easy to say but hard to do, right? And as a youth, what will be your contribution in making “change” ? Rizal said, “ Ang kabataan ang pag-asa ng bayan “. And we’ll prove them that this saying is true.

My status is single, why? Because I’m too busy changing the world. We all know that there’s a lot of many changes in our life. As one song said. Some changes are good but some also for bad. I mean, not all changes are good. Not unless you’ll say “I’ll change for the better” and you’ll put an act on it. As a youth, I’ll say that changes starts all by yourself. Don’t bother wasting your time waiting for change to happen. Yes, change may just happen unexpectedly but not all of those changes bring you happiness or goodness so I’ll say that if you alone will do it yourself those changes will bring you happiness. And I guess “Change will all starts with me”.

Ylocos Kanawidan Festival

Ylocos Kanawidan Festival

Kannawidan Ylocos Festival is Ilocos Sur's week-long festivity which is celebrated not only by the locals but also foreign tourists. The main aim of the festival is to exhibit and promote the products and precious cultures of Ilocanos.

 This annual event seeks to make people aware of the rich Ilocano culture, 

traditions and practices so that they would be preserved.

We started to celebrate it at February 29, were they’ll open it using fireworks sign of welcoming this called festival. Kannawidan Festival is the festival of entire Ilocos Sur. Different town in Ilocos Sur wiil be joining and celebrate it.

 This 2015, Kannawidan Festival held at Quirino, Stadium. Where carnavals, bargains and different OTOP of each town were there. It’s either foofds or agricultural products etc. Kannawidan also invites actresses and actors to perform and entertain audiences at stage.

Reflection

     Ending this grading period in ICT, I've learned more. Enjoying making those different activities and projects. Just like what we've done in our project . We made some interviews here in Vigan City. Specially, I've enjoyed the company of my classmates. I've also learned to be more independent, specially our teacher is so busy and we have to show how responsible we are as a student. Eventhough our teacher is so busy and we understand taht, she catch up in our lessons. And for me, that's the good thing  about ma'am. I hope to learn more this coming grading period.

Change For The Better

         They say "change is bound to happen" this new year. I guess, for the better? Because for me, I'll change for the better.                          Like others want to. Some also says, " I'll going to list my new year's resolution", which I'm not planning to. Because for me, everything that I've done ending this year will be my resolution this new year. I'ts either It'll happen accidentally. I'll not waste my time granting those resolution. Because as I said, I'll just let it happen. Just like the song Last Hope by Paramore said "gonna let it happen' just let it happen". If ever It'll not happen, It's okay, there's another year to come. I'll just enjoy this whole year's making sure not wasting every single day. Again, Happy New Year!

Do you ever experience having a climate change? Well’ I guess so, yes! What’s it’s effect? Well’ as far as I know, climate change affect people’s health. Mostly, those who are weak. I mean their body condition or health. Some go tsick, cold or runnynose etc.
